Seville is preparing to welcome Texan singer-songwriter Micah P Hinson later this month.

SEVILLE, SPAIN, July 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Indie darling Micah P Hinson is set to take the stage in Seville later this month for an intimate gig at the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporaneo (CAAC).
 
Bursting on to the alternative scene in 2004 with debut album Micah P Hinson and the Gospel of Progress, the singer-songwriter was acclaimed by critics for his individual take on the genre.
 
He has since released a further five records, most recently unveiling Micah P Hinson and the Pioneer Saboteurs, which is the record he is currently touring.
 
The Texas native has been compared to artists such as Gram Parsons and Will Oldham as a result of his vocal delivery.
 
His performance forms part of the wider Nocturama 2011 festival being held by the CAAC.
 
One track to look out for during the show is his cover of Jeff Buckley's Yard of Blonde Girls, which he recorded for a tribute album to the late singer in 2005.
 
Admission costs EUR5 (GBP4.40) and the concert is scheduled to start at 21:00 local time on Wednesday July 27th.
