Family audiences will be introduced to the joys of classical music through the Bach to the Future concert in Kuala Lumpur this November.

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, October 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kuala Lumpur's Dewan Filharmonik Petronas concert hall is to play host to performances of the family-friendly classical concert called Bach to the Future next month.
 
Performed by Platypus Theatre, the show combines a humorous and engaging storyline with renditions of some of classical music's most renowned pieces.
 
Bach to the Future follows the exploits of a schoolgirl called Corky who is propelled back in time while putting together a school project, leading her to meet composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Shostakovich.
 
This quirky storyline provides the perfect way for kids to engage with classic works such as Bach's Suite No 3, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and Dvorak's Slavonic Dance No 8.
 
Performances of the show will take place on November 12th, 13th and 14th at 15:00, 14:30 and 16:30 local time respectively, as part of the venue's Family Fun Day series.
 
Tickets will cost between 20 and 80 ringgits (GBP4.10 and GBP16.30), with audience members advised to dress in smart casual clothing for the show.
