Although the Camden-based band have been linked to the so-called Britpop revival trumpeted by the music press in recent months, their primary influences are US alternative rock bands such as the Pixies, Pavement and REM.
 
The gig at King Tut's will offer fans a chance to experience one of the most famous music venues in the UK, let alone Glasgow. The small club is renowned as the place where label boss Alan McGee discovered Oasis in 1993.
 
Impressed by the then-unsigned band's confidence and the swagger of Liam Gallagher, McGhee famously offered them a record deal on the spot.
